Wood veneer makes an optimal use of the wood being offered by nature. With a nett output of about 1000 m² per m³ of wood, there is no other natural product that is capable of offering bigger usage of a natural resource.

1 m³ of log gives 23 m² solid wood with a thickness of 26 mm and 700 à 1000 m² of wood veneer.

Decospan also makes all efforts to guarantee that the wood is being sourced from “well managed forests”. Our pure wood charter, our FSC COC number and our PEFC COC number prove that this is not only a part of our marketing strategy but essential to our full strategy.

Furthermore, the group has succeeded in putting urea-formaldehyde free products on the market.
