Lacquering: Decospan reaches a helping hand to their customers. Extra care with regard to costs and environmental problems is no longer required as from now on we also offer lacquered boards. Technical properties furniture quality lacquer: Max. width: 2070 mm (unique in the world) Max length: 3050 mm Lacquer: mat 20-25 % gloss (standard) UV polyurethane-acrylate lacquer / solvent free Minimum number of boards: to be determined. Staining: also possible if certain minimum quantities can be guaranteed. The lacquer can be adjusted if necessary, technical details available. Option: on request, lacquered boards can be protected by a transparent film.
Oiling: In order to preserve the natural character of the wood veneer, we can from now onwards treat these with a UV- hardening oil finish. Technical properties oil: Max width: 1240 mm Max length: 3050 mm Oil: mat 6-10 % gloss (standard) Natural oil, UV hardening Can be adjusted or maintained with appropriate products. Staining: All panels can be more personalized by staining the wood. The process is identical to the lacquering process. Technical properties: Max width: 1240 mm Max length: 3050 mm Lacquer: mat 20 -25 gloss (standard) UV polyurethane-acrylate lacquer/solvent free. Minimum quantity: on demand
Brushing: By brushing out the pores of the veneer with hard brushes we obtain a surface with more grain structure. Ideal to see a more pronounced grain after staining. Technical properties: Max width: 1240 mm Max length: 3500 mm Brushing on first application: 0.15mm depth (depending on wood species). This operation can be repeated several times to achieve greater depth.

Some solvent based lacquers may react with the glue used to joint veneer leaves, making the joint more visible to the eye. Therefore in order to avoid a potential problem we recommend that a test is carried out prior to full production.

V-groove: Wood veneered boards can be V-grooved in order to obtain a plank effect. Technical properties: Max. length: 2070 mm Max. width: 3050 mm Standard depth: 2 mm Standard width: 3 mm Number: on request: 1, 2 or 3 Intermediary distances: according to the customer’s wish Profile: standard V-groove (U-groove also possible) After this operation the wood veneer can be treated with lacquer/oil.
T-groove: Veneered MDF boards can also be T-grooved according to the profile desired by the customer. Technical properties: Max. length: 2070 mm Max. width: 3050 mm Profile: in accordance with customer’s wish Distances: following agreement The boards can be delivered cut to size: they can also be lacquered or oiled.
Drilling: Wood veneered panels can be provided with drillings (in line). Technical properties: Max. length: 2070 mm Max. width: 3050 mm Distance between holes: 16/32 mm The boards can be deliverd cut to size and/ or lacquered/ oiled. Other diameters and distances on request.
Grooves: The wood veneered panels can be grooved long side, this to improve the acoustic. Technical properties: Max. length: 2070 mm Max. width: 3050 mm Standard depth: 8 mm Standard width: 8 mm Distance between grooves: according to the customers demands. After this operation the wood veneer can be treated with lacquer/oil.
