Decospan offers the possibility to add an extra value to your standard boards.
Price and minimum quantities depend on the kind of finish.
In order to protect the finished boards in an optimal way these can be foil wrapped.

Lacquer & Oils

Each panel that we have produced must be finished. In many cases, this finish is done by the handler or by a sprayer. However, Decospan is also happy to help you with this:
You can save up to 70% by ordering pre-lacquered panels. Moreover, we can provide the panels with a transparent protective layer after the finish to prevent scratches during transportation and processing. Prelacquered edge bandings are also available.

Colours / Stains

The veneered wood can be further personalised by colouring it. Decospan can also deliver coloured and finished panels. You can choose the colour from our stock, or we can produce a colour exclusively for you. Anything is possible. The development and size of the series can be decided in consultation with the Decospan sales team.

Brushing

Decospan has also followed the trend for more texture and contrast in the wood. By brushing the wood, the texture is highlighted. Dependent on the customer's request, there is the possibility of light or heavy brushing.

0.6 mm oak heavily brushed

Some solvent based lacquers may react with the glue used to joint veneer sheets, making the joint more visible to the eye. Therefore, in order to avoid a potential problem we recommend that a test is carried out prior to full protection.

V-groove

Wood veneered panels can be V-grooved in order to obtain a plank effect.

Standard depth: 2 mm
Standard width: 3 mm
Quantity: as required, 1, 2 or 3
Intermediary dimensions: according to the customer’s wish.

T-groove

Veneered MDF boards can also be T-grooved in accordance to the profile as required by the customer.

The panels can be delivered cut to size.

Drilling

Wood veneered panels can be provided with drilled holes (in a line).

Grooves

Wood veneered panels can also be supplied with longitudinal grooves; this is to improve the acoustics or for aesthetical reasons.

Scratched

Alongside brushing, it is also possible to give the panels an even rougher, more natural look. Using a special process, we introduce a sort of sawing pattern into the veneer. This can be done on both 0.6 mm as well as on 2 mm veneer.
