Decospan has also followed the trend for more texture and contrast in the wood. By brushing the wood, the texture is highlighted. Depending on the customer’s requirement there is the option of light or heavy brushing.

Alongside brushing, it is also possible to give the panels an even rougher, more natural look. Using a special process, we introduce a sawing pattern into the veneer. Structured Wood is always applied on boards veneered by the mixmatch jointing technique. Mixmatch is a jointing technique achieved by combining the veneered wood from different logs with varying cutting types using a process developed in house (see drawing). Our patented jointing machine guarantees that every sheet is unique.
