Casaleno

Technical product description

A. Description

Casaleno is a sheet of wood veneer that is extremely flexible making it suitable for gluing to various surfaces. A thin wood veneer is pressed onto a paper backing. After gluing, each wood fibre is broken thus providing the product with its remarkable flexibility.

B. Technical information

Veneer

‘Pure wood veneer’ with a thickness of 0.6 mm. Wood veneer is joined using the 'mix-match' technique and is pre-sanded using a 150 abrasive grain. The quality is an example of the Decospan 'architectural' quality. Variations are available on request.

Backing

The backing to the sheet is made from unwoven cellulose/ polyester fibres, bonded with an acrylate. The backing is further strengthened by impregnating it with water and heat resistant glue. The colour of the backing is adjusted to the colour of the veneer.
