A. Description

Look a Like is a range of reconstituted veneers with a focus on continuity and creativity combining the advantages of imitation wood and natural wood veneer. The collection consists of 10 wood species as veneered panels or as a flexible veneer (Decoflex).

B. Technical information

Wood veneer

‘Pure wood veneer’ with a thickness of 0.6 mm. Wood veneer is 'slip matched' and is pre-sanded with a 120 abrasive grain. The quality is an example of the Decospan 'architectural' quality. The veneered wood is pressed in accordance to the HPLT procedure (High Pressure Low Temperature).

Backing

The standard backing of the panel is a contra-veneered wood, as required by the manufacturer. Double sided 'Look a like' veneered wood is also an option.

Dimensions

The veneered panel is available in three dimensions: 2500 x 1240, 3050 x 1240 and 2800 x 2070 mm. The flexible wood veneer is available in two dimensions: 2500 x 1240 and 3050 x 1240 mm.

Finish

The wood veneer is always unfinished and can be finished with any product (oil, lacquer, furniture wax, stain ...). At the customer's request, the panels can also be lacquered. The finish is done in accordance with the Diapro lacquer procedure using an environmentally friendly acrylated urethane UV hardened lacquer. (99.5% fixed content).

Packaging

The panels are packed in batches of ten. Smaller quantities are surcharged. The sheets are available individually. The top panel is always inverted and is protected with a cardboard sheet.

Gluing

Gluing the wood veneer is done in accordance with E1 standards (low formaldehyde emissions) and can be done on request as 'Zero'. During the entire production process, no formaldehyde is added.

Wood species

‘Look a Like’ is offered in ten versions: LaL 01 Oak quarter, LaL 04 Oak quarter, LaL 24 Oak quarter, LaL 15 Birch plywood, LaL 33 Ebony quarter, LaL 26 Zebrano, LaL 35 Teak quarter, LaL 36 Teak crown, LaL 08 Wengé quarter, LaL 12 Wengé quarter.

C. Application

‘Look a Like’ should only be used for interior purposes.
