Quality qualification

Xceptional

In this grade, you will only find exceptional logs. They are special due to their size, quality or because of a specific defect. These unique pieces can be selected for a particular project, whereby the entire trunk tells the story. Decospan tries to provide the origin and story of each trunk.

Architectural

These are uniform logs with pure quality and successive batches of veneer which are unrolled for the application. The panels are numbered in order to be able to display the image gradient perfectly. The pattern continues here. This can be cut in crown cut or quarter cut from very pure trunks with a beautiful design and structure. These are processed at least for three veneer batches.

Classic

This is the more classic version that is more than sufficient in most circumstances. This is pure wood veneer, with a number of characteristics specific to the wood, which are not visually disturbing. You can expect to find a certain degree of similarity in the wood pattern but certainly not as much as in the Architectural.

Commercial

In this grade, you will find panels with more expressive and more typical wood characteristics. These panels have a cruder structure with colour nuances, smaller batch sizes and more knots. These panels have one considerable advantage that they are competitively priced.
