Wood fits into any interior. Light or dark wood, a floor, a wall, a ceiling or compartmentalized with slats. At Decospan, we don't just believe that wood makes living and working interiors more beautiful and warmer. It also improves the quality of life.
You can’t get your teeth checked at the headquarters of Lumino The Dentists, but it is the nerve centre of the largest network of dentists in Australia. For the fitting out, the interior designer Unispace opted for light and space and the perfect balance between a professional working environment and a homely feeling.
Homely and corporate
For instance, in the dining area, you can not only see a long, communal table but also a cosy, large chair, a TV screen, and trendy, light-coloured wall tiles which everyone would like to fit in their kitchen. There are also sleek meeting areas, and small work, telephone and meeting cocoons as well as soft carpets and discrete curtains. Even the lighting is a combination of traditional office lights with other, more homely light fittings.
Oak veneer in ivory
The bright atmosphere stands out even from the reception. For instance, here there is a wavy wall cladding in an extremely light shade of oak veneer. Is it a coincidence that Unispace chose ‘Ivory’ as the colour for its dentistry organisation? In any case, it was a very successful combination and it was awarded the Best Design Award by the Designers Institute of New Zealand.

A bright and cosy atmosphere at the dentist
You don’t normally associate a visit to the dentist with cosiness, but there is certainly a special, almost homely feel to the headquarters of Lumino The Dentists. The smartly fitted-out offices give Luminos employees a bright, spacious and pleasant working environment.
