In Zwevegem, the clients commissioned an outdoor kitchen that is sure to bring them loads of fun and enjoyment throughout the sultry summers. They chose a veneer finish in American Walnut, a premium wood type. Walnut trees can grow for up to a century. Every wood veneer in walnut is unique and has its own story to tell. The mix-matched jointing technique applied to the veneer also adds an extra dimension to this outdoor kitchen. With this jointing technique, the veneer strips are jointed randomly to create a more dynamic interplay of colour and structure while still creating a unified whole.
The jointing technique largely determines the whole look and feel of a project, and thats definitely the case here. The mix-matched jointing technique produces a true-to-life solid plank look, just what any setting in green needs.
